Description:
A tufted perennial grass, with hard leaves. Flowers from December 
to May
Habitat:
Occurs in disturbed and eroded land, it grows in shallow, poor and 
gravel soils.
Distribution:
South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia
Uses:
Unpalatable grass with hard leaves, a hardy grass that can survive 
difficult conditions. Useful for stabilizing eroded areas.
